This is the mask that I was talking about in my previous blog. This picture was taken with my mask half one. This process took about one hour and a half. I had various layers painter on my face.
When the make-up artist reach this step he said, wow you look freaky.
Do you want to see yourself?
Since there was no mirrors, I say go ahead and take a picture with my Palm Zire 71.
The only thing I regret is not to ask him to take another picture when the mask was completed.
You can imagine how hot it must be under all those layers, and on top of that been in a jungle like setting in the middle of the day with the sun glaring at you.
Then I had to go home and take the mask off in my shower, so imaging my kids’ expressions when I walk into my house with the mask on.
Yesterday we took more shot for the movie. In this shot I was cover with ketchup and sand.
Nasty!
After that scene I took a shower and man, I never seen so much sand on me in my whole life.
Hopefully the movie will turn out good.
I just can’t get over the teeth. I can’t wait to see the movie! Next time take pictures of the full mask. It sounds like a lot of work, but I am sure you are having fun.
